"This is the ultimate Easter weekend breakfast."
Serves 4
3 eggs
3/4 cup (185ml) milk
1 tbs caster sugar
20g unsalted butter
8 slices white bread
100g milk or dark chocolate,
finely chopped
Icing sugar, to dust
Whisk the eggs, milk, caster sugar and a
pinch of salt together until well combined.
Heat half the butter in a large non-stick
frypan over medium heat.
Coat 2 slices of
bread completely in the egg mixture and
place in the pan. Sprinkle each slice with
a quarter of the chopped chocolate. Soak
another 2 pieces of bread in egg mixture,
and place on top of chocolate. Press down
gently with a spatula. Cook for 3 minutes
each side or until golden brown.
